Join a launch event for a new Climate Investment Funds / KPMG report highlighting the crucial role of technical assistance in scaling up climate finance. Speakers will share key takeaways on financial efficiency, enabling environment and innovation. Perspectives from participating developing countries such as India, South Africa and Armenia will be shared.

During this period, he was instrumental in negotiating line of credit of 620 million dollars with World Bank. Thereafter he was actively involved in handling and resolution of the Bank’s Stressed Assets including high value cases under NCLT. He worked as Chief General Manager-2 (Sector) in Stressed Assets Resolution Group situated at the Bank’s Corporate Centre in Mumbai.
Presently, he is working as Chief General Manager, Credit Policy & Procedures Department situated at the Bank’s Corporate Centre in Mumbai. He is actively handling the formulation of Renewable Energy Policies and arranging line of credit from various mutli-lateral development agencies for onward handling of climate finance activities.

Dr. Joko Tri Haryanto is currently the Senior Analyst, of Fiscal Policy Agency for Climate Change Financing and Multilateral Policy, Ministry of Finance of Indonesia. With this role, he is responsible for formulating fiscal policies and financing to support the mitigation and adaptation of climate change.

Mr Haryanto held the PhD degree in Environmental Studies from University of Indonesia. He reached his Master of Economics Degree from University of Indonesia. He also spends his leisure time to be newspaper columnist.

Aida Sitdikova is Director Energy, Eurasia, Sustainable Infrastructure Group at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development where she heads a team covering a diverse group of transition countries with a focus on power utilities.
Aida Sitdikova is Director Energy, Eurasia, Sustainable Infrastructure Group at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development where she heads a team covering a diverse group of transition countries with a focus on power utilities. Her team’s projects had a specific focus on energy and resource efficiency, renewables and energy infrastructure all underpinned by the Bank’s mandate of supporting transition to lower carbon economies and promoting private sector. Prior to joining the Bank in 2001 Ms Sitdikova worked in private equity. She holds the MBA degree from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management and a CFA designation.

Frank van der Vleuten is coordinating policy officer for climate finance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Frank has represented the Netherlands in governance of the Climate Investment Funds since 2012 and currently acts as co-chair of the Global Climate Actions Program sub-committee.

Solomiia has joined the EBRD in 2016 and since has been working on implementation of intermediated sustainable energy and green economy financing facilities with partner banks, microfinance institutions and leasing companies and coordinating Green Economy Financing Facilities in 10+ EBRD countries of operations.

Prior to joining the EBRD, Solomiia for almost a decade has worked for Austrian and Swedish engineering and finance consultancy groups on implementation of projects on energy efficiency and climate investments, as well as environmental policies in the private and public sectors on behalf of different institutions, including the EBRD, EIB, UNIDO, NEFCO.

Chandra Govindarajalu leads the energy climate finance team which is responsible for mobilizing climate finance for the Energy and Extractives Practice at the World Bank working with global funds and bilateral funds including the Climate Investment Funds (CIF), the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and others He also leads the global energy storage program and the coal transition programs at the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP).
