CIF RELOCATES TO BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MICHIGAN

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., September 2001 - The Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) has relocated its offices from Ann Arbor, Michigan to a new headquarters in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. CIF is a non-profit, international organization founded in 1987. Its sole purpose is to encourage and recognize innovation that has improved the quality and cost efficiency of construction. CIF identifies innovative techniques and methods and publicly recognizes their value through publications, nomination for awards, etc.

The NOVA Award is CIF’s most distinguished honor. A jury of internationally recognized experts reviews each nomination, and NOVA Award winners are selected through an intense and thorough investigative process. To date, nominations for the NOVA Award have been received from more than 20 countries. Worldwide, forty-five innovations involving 11 countries have received the prestigious award.

By recognizing innovative techniques and methods, CIF hopes to educate industry leaders on the importance of innovation in the construction industry and encourage others to develop, implement, and require innovative processes.
