Construction Innovation Forum Announces Opening of Nominations for 2000 NOVA Award

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Construction Innovation Forum's Board of Directors has formally announced the call for nominations for the year 2000, for the 11th annual NOVA Awards, honoring innovation around the world in the construction industry. Call for Entries encourage nominations from every sector of the construction industry.

The Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) is an international, non-profit organization that was formed in 1987 to recognize innovation in the construction industry that improve the quality, productivity and cost effectiveness of construction.

Thirty-five innovations worldwide have received the CIF's prestigious NOVA Award since the first awards were presented in 1990. Winners of the NOVA Award are selected by a distinguished jury who follow a thorough selection process.

The deadline to submit nominations is September 15, 1999, for the year 2000 awards. Nominations require one page of specific information about the innovation to allow the award's jury to initiate the judging process. There is no entry fee, and you do not have to be a member of the CIF to submit a nomination. A copy of the nomination form may be obtained from the CIF office, or download from the CIF web site at www.cif.org.

CIF's annual NOVA Awards are presented each year at its Innovation Celebration banquet. The 2000 Innovation Celebration will be held on March 16, 2000 at the Laurel Manor in Livonia, Michigan.

The Construction Innovation Forum is an international non-profit corporation that rewards innovation in construction. Each year innovation is recognized with the NOVA Award. The next NOVA Awards ceremony will be held during the 11th Annual Innovation Celebration on March 11, 1999. The event will be held at the Laurel Manor in Livonia, Michigan.
