Construction Innovation Forum Announces
Opening of Nominations for 1998 NOVA Award

(Ann Arbor, Michigan) The Construction Innovation Forum's Board of Directors has formally announced the opening of 1998 Nominations for its annual NOVA Award, honoring innovations around the world in the construction industry. The Call for Entries encourages nominations from every sector of the construction industry.

The Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) is an international, non-profit organization that was formed in 1987 to recognize innovations in the construction industry that improve the quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness of construction.

Twenty-seven (27) innovations worldwide have received the CIF's prestigious NOVA Award since the award's inception in 1987. Winners of the NOVA Award are selected by a distinguished jury who follow a thorough selection process.

The deadline to submit nominations is September 15, 1997 for the 1998 Awards. Nominations require one page of specific information about the innovation to allow the Awards Jury to initiate its judging process. There is no entry fee, and you do not have to be a member of the CIF to submit a nomination.

CIF's Annual NOVA Awards are presented each year at its Innovation Celebration banquet. The 1998 Innovation Celebration will be held March 12, 1998 at the Laurel Manor, Livonia, Michigan. Tickets are $175 each, $1,200 for reserved tables of eight.
