CONSTRUCTION INNOVATION FORUM ANNOUNCES CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR 2003 NOVA AWARDS

Bloomfield Hills, April 25, 2002 - The Construction Innovation Forum’s Board of Directors has formally announced the Call for Nominations for the year 2003, for the 14^th annual NOVA Awards Celebration, honoring innovation around the world in the construction industry. The CIF encourages nominations from every sector of the construction industry. 

The Construction Innovation Forum (CIF) is an international, non-profit organization that was formed in 1987 to recognize and encourage innovations in the construction industry that improve the quality, and reduce the cost of construction. Forty innovations worldwide have received the CIF’s Prestigious NOVA Award since the first awards were presented in 1990.

Winners of the NOVA Award are selected by a distinguished Jury that follows a thorough selection process. The deadline to submit nominations is postmarked October 1 for the year 2003 NOVA Awards. 

Nominations require one page of specific information about the innovation to allow the NOVA Awards Jury to initiate the judging process.  There is no entry fee, and you do not have to be a member of CIF to submit a nomination.  Innovators are encouraged to enter their own innovations. A copy of the nomination form can be obtained from the CIF office or downloaded from the CIF web site at www.cif.org. CIF’s annual NOVA Awards are presented each year at the Innovation Celebration Banquet.  The 2003 Innovation Celebration will be held on April 24, 2003.
