Description: |
The CPMIS is a management tool to assist the construction manager and owner in managing project costs, schedules, work flow, communications, manpower and all documentation, with a completely electronic, paperless interface among all parties of the project team. The system uses a Local Area Network (LAN) that connects the on-site representatives of the Construction Manager, Design Professional, Contractor, and Owner, and has additional capabilities for remote communications. Proactive work flow analysis tools identify who should receive what information, what actions are required and the length of response time. A feature of this paperless system, is that all workers entering and leaving the site are recorded using bar-code technology. Cost and labor-loaded schedule activities are then electronically loaded with the actual hours expended and matched against the hours recorded for entry on site. Keywords: computer, software |
