Description:

The use of Bristar Non-explosive demolition agent was chosen to separate radioactive concrete from non-radioactive concrete at the Princeton Penn Accelerator in Princeton, New Jersey. The concrete was separated into cubic segments to permit disposal. Bristar's use resulted in significantly reduced costs and speedy prosecution of the work. It minimized the number and cost of burial boxes and associated transportation and entombment costs for the contaminated concrete.
