Description:

The Steed System is a pneumatically driven nailing system for use in the construction of buildings with sheet metal skins that are commonly called post frame buildings. The nailer fires a range of nail sizes, is equipped with rib guides to conform to the contures of various panel ribs, and allows for the precise placement of the nails. The collated nail has a corrosion resistant finish and uses a pair of elastomeric washers positioned along the nail shank. These washers become compressed between the nail head and the metal panel when the nail is driven and create a weather tight-seal around the puncture hole in the metal panel. This is the only known nail collation package where the collation system is an integral part of the final fastening. Keywords: power tools
