Description: |
Precision CAD Integrator is an interface that allows estimators to electronically take off dimensions and building specifications from any AutoCAD drawing file for use in a cost estimate created with Precision Estimating Plus software. It offers takeoff from electronic plans for faster turnaround of estimates and change orders, and for improved "constructibility" of designs. Unlike previous methodologies, the integrator can perform both detailed and conceptual takeoffs rather than just the conceptual estimating done by some CAD systems. Designers can draw freely without any estimating-related restrictions, and estimators do not have to change the way they estimate. The system represents the second generation of design-to-estimating software. |
