Description: |
The Paint Test Kit is for use in the field to screen the quality of latex and oil-based architectural paints. It evaluates fourteen basic qualitative properties, such as hiding, dry time, sag resistance and cleanability. It is to be used as a screening device only. Paints that pass the tests are expected to perform well while those not passing the tests must be sent to a laboratory for further evaluation. The use of the kit encourages the evaluation of paint prior to application and permits the achievement of a high degree of quality control. It is now available commercially through Nucleus Corporation, Madison Heights, Michigan. |
