Description:

Microtunneling is a process for the underground placement of manually inaccessible diameter utility pipes using methods based on the principle of pipe jacking. Microtunneling systems are self-contained pipe jacking systems that are miniaturized, laser guided, and computer controlled tunnel boring machines. This equipment has been refined for use in cohesive and non-cohesive soils under both dry and subaqueous conditions. Guidance of the machine and monitoring to prevent infrastructure damage is remotely controlled from the ground surface above the launch shaft. Keyword: automate
