Glass A is a preinsulated piping system for the transport of fluids of various temperatures. It features specially applied insulation material; access to its interior for testing, venting, draining or drying; and a rigid outer casing of filament wound fiberglass reinforced plastic. It is prefabricated to reduce on-site labor requirements. Uses include district heating and cooling, geothermal, cogeneration, cryogenic, and general utility applications. |
