Re-Bar-Tier machines come in three models, all of which make ties with three wraps of wire. The lightest duty is the RB213, which ties welded wire fabric and up to overlapping #3 bars. The RB650 is the heaviest duty and ties bars up the overlap of a #8 bar with a # 10 bar. The three machines vary in weight from 4.6 to 7.7 pounds, and they cost from $2,150 to $2,500. They each take about 1 second to make each tie, which is 3 to 5 times faster than tying by hand. |
