The box girder is 4 feet wide and 6 ½ feet deep, with top and bottom walls 7 inches thick
and side walls 6 inches thick, and it weighs 1,500 pounds per linear foot.
The two sloping end sections are each 124 feet long and weigh 93 tons,
and the center horizontal section is 94 feet long and weighs 70 tons.

Concrete box girder sections were cast in sections on the floor of the arena below their final position.
Photograph shows horizontal reinforcing steel for bottom of a box girder section,
bent up to provide continuity and bond for side walls, which will be formed and cast later.
