Please tell us about a recent innovation you have developed or used or have seen others use that you believe should be nominated for the NOVA Award. The CIF will follow up your suggestion and consider soliciting its submission as a NOVA Award Nomination. 

We recommend that a nomination suggestion provide as much as possible of the information needed in a nomination, which includes: 

  • What the innovation is
  • Why it is innovative
  • What the innovation changed or replaced
  • Where and when the innovation originated, has been used, and is expected to be used in the future
  • If the nomination is for an innovative project, specifically identify its innovation(s).

There are three basic ways you can have an innovation nominated for the NOVA Award:

  • Nominate the innovation yourself or help someone else do so. (Go to the NOVA Award Nomination Form for instructions.)
  • Write, email, fax, or phone the CIF with information on the innovation. (See address information below.)
  • Insert information on the innovation into the form below and submit it to the CIF. (Note: This form is not a NOVA Award Nomination, which must follow the format in the NOVA Award Nomination Form.)
